Anxiety

Anxiety disorders, characterized by excessive worry and fear, are commonly treated with medications and therapy. Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) like Sertraline (Zoloft) and Fluoxetine (Prozac) are often prescribed for their effectiveness and fewer side effects.
Benzodiazepines such as Alprazolam (Xanax) and Lorazepam (Ativan) provide quick relief from acute anxiety symptoms but are generally used for short-term management due to their addictive potential. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is also an effective treatment approach for managing anxiety disorders.
