Asthma

Asthma medications aim to manage and prevent symptoms like wheezing and shortness of breath. Short-acting bronchodilators, such as Albuterol, provide quick relief during an asthma attack. Inhaled corticosteroids like Fluticasone maintain long-term control by reducing inflammation in the airways. Long-acting bronchodilators, often combined with inhaled steroids (as in Advair), help keep airways open over time.
